Jeff Rudluff began an online marketing business in October 2004, joined forces with Cade Herzog in February 2005, and then formed OPM with Michael Edwards and Herzog in January 2006. To this partnership, Rudluff brings broad experience in designing cost-effective products and services that drive customer demand and service via the Internet. He continually develops new business for the agency, and innovates new solutions with current clients. Rudluff steers the organization by conceiving, developing, and implementing its core competencies, which include Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), media buying, affiliate programs, social marketing, and emerging technologies within the Internet channel.
Prior to forming OPM, Rudluff broke new ground by designing and developing early proto-types of GTE (Verizon) SuperPages and Superpages.com. He developed the strategy for all GTE (Verizon) online initiatives, including establishing the Internet as sales- and customer- service channels, and creating billing for both residential and business customers in the National Marketing Organization. Rudluff brought his Internet experience to Match.com® where, as Vice President of Product, he led the online dating service through the explosive growth years. His vision integrated Match.com with AOL®, MSN®, and other partners. As Vice President of New Product Development, Rudluff led the successful expansion of service to include, video, voice, wireless, and other services.
Cade Herzog began a performance marketing company in October 2002, joined forces with Jeff Rudluff in February 2005, and then formed OPM with Michael Edwards and Rudluff in January 2006. To this partnership, Herzog brings a vast background in technology publishing, sales and business development for interactive companies, creation of strategic online marketing plans, overseeing research, media buying, trafficking, and reporting, as well as supervising email marketing efforts and affiliate channel development.
Prior to forming OPM, Herzog was chosen to serve as a Senatorial Intern on Capitol Hill, co-owned and published a network of technology magazines, and served as Director of Business Development among other key roles for Match.com®.
Linda joined Online Performance Marketing in September, 2009, creating the new position of Business Development Director. She brings to OPM sales, sales management and marketing experience working in the online learning and publishing technology fields. In her prior agency experience, she worked on developing social media strategies and implemented search engine optimization programs for new clients.
Prior to joining OPM, Linda spent 15 years in publishing, working in the education, corporate, and trade markets. She spent eight of those years in the computer publishing industry, developing strategic programs across multiple brands for national retailers such as CompUSA, Fry’s Electronics, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Office Depot, Costco and Sam’s Club. Additionally, she created and ran national sales forces, as well as developed national service, sales and marketing programs, including strategic development of coop advertising for large national retailers. She consistently showed increases in overall productivity among her client base, whether managing directly or through her team. She moved into the online learning environment with Pearson Education and on to the Corporate Online Training market with McGraw Hill, and subsequently left publishing to move into marketing.
Known most recently as “The Display Network Queen”, Shelley Ellis has x-ray vision for seeing untapped, online conversion opportunities with the experience to design fast, efficient and cost effective marketing campaigns to reach them! She is known internationally for her ability to overlap customized marketing strategies across SEO, PPC, Social Media, Video, Mobile and Local Marketing.
Shelley has spent the last 18 years in online marketing as an agency owner, speaker and marketing consultant where she has worked with multi-million dollar budgets and hundreds of advertising accounts including: Coca-Cola, Hallmark, Kimberly-Clark, Ritz-Carlton, Mary Kay, Avaya and more.
Shelley is the undisputed industry expert on the Google display network which includes opportunities for targeting using video, banner ads, mobile, audio, in-game ads, remarketing, topic and interest targeting. She is the creator of a number of display advertising training courses and is looking forward to releasing more training videos, blog posts and newsletters in the coming weeks.
Shelley has spoken recently at national venues such as Pubcon, AdSpace, Glazer/Kennedy’s InfoSummit and has spoken at other industry venues such as DFWSEM and for Perry Marshall. She has been interviewed on CNN radio, PPC Rockstars, Marketing Nirvana, Web Talk Radio and more. Her upcoming speaking engagements include the Video Marketing Guild, Austin’s Internet Marketing Party and the Fort Worth Mensa 76 group.
As Client Performance Strategist, Shelley works with both existing clients and new clients to develop strategies that best fit each client’s current goals, resources and budgets. Her diversified marketing background gives her the insight to take a client’s existing marketing strategies and create synergy between their different marketing methods such as video and SEO, Social and PPC, offline and online marketing, etc.
Timothy Davis joined OPM in January 2011, bringing expertise in both Google Analytics and Google AdWords, while being a Google AdWords, Microsoft adCenter and Google Analytics Certified Individual. Tim has worked on big and small sites providing his knowledge on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per Click (PPC), Social Media Optimization (SMO), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Landing Page Optimization, Website Optimization, Email Marketing and Data Analysis. Tim has worked at agencies specializing in both corporate and destination marketing websites. As a business development professional, Tim considers himself versatile, resourceful and a passionate professional.
Prior to OPM, some of the sites that Tim has worked on/for include, but are not limited to: Hotels.com, Pepsi Co., KB Home, Dallas Cowboys Online Store, Las Vegas CVB, Orlando CVB and D. Anderson & Company. With some of these companies he was able to increase conversion rate by as much as 214% and organic traffic 74% in a year over year analysis for non-brand terms.
Stephanie Perryman joined OPM in May 2007. As an AdWords and Microsoft Certified Individual, she employs her skills to manage clients’ paid search accounts, reporting and carries out best practices to produce the best results possible. Stephanie is also the go-to person for the OPM advanced ad-serving program where she implements and manages campaigns using Flash, rich media and video.
Prior to OPM, Stephanie gained valuable and diversified experience in server administration, real estate marketing, online editing and offline copy.
Dave Rowe joined OPM in January of 2010. Dave is an Adwords Certified Individual who uses his experience in Paid search marketing to achieve high levels of return for OPM’s clients. Dave is currently responsible for day-to-day management of client accounts, reporting and implementing strategic best practices to maximize the impact of clients’ ad spend.
Prior to OPM Dave was an Online Marketing Specialist at OpenBook where he managed Paid Search and SEO campaigns for hotels across the country. He also wrote content for several new client websites. Dave was an account services intern at Publicis Mid America as well, where he worked on national campaigns for clients such as Beano, BC Headache Powder, Terminix and True Green.
Michelle Anderson joined OPM in July 2011. Michelle is a certified Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter Certified Individual. In addition to search marketing, Michelle has more than a decade of experience in traditional marketing, online marketing, graphic design and website design.
Prior to joining OPM, Michelle managed several large PPC accounts in the financial services sector where conversion rates increased by an average of 87.5% and cost per click decreased by an average of 54%. She has a passion for rebranding and has worked as a marketing manager for several legal software companies including LexisNexis, Visionary Legal Technologies and Image Capture Engineering. Several of her articles have been featured in various trade publications and she created award-winning website design and email campaigns for Oriental Trading Company.
Jacob Steele joined OPM in September of 2009 and has been an important part in assisting all of our team members with designing, managing and optimizing both large and small Pay-Per Click (PPC) accounts. Jacob specializes in deep keyword dives for optimization, building out new accounts, opportunities research, ad copy and monthly reporting for all of our clients.
Shan Simmons joined OPM in April 2008 where he brings more than a decade of experience in online development and marketing, specifically in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), paid search, affiliate networks, banner advertising, among other channels. He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of promoting products and services online. In addition, his strong technical background lends itself to understanding the complexities of interactive products like usability, promotion, and analytics. He presently leads client campaigns, helping companies effectively realize their potential to drive sales through organic search.
Prior to OPM, Simmons has held roles within some of the Internet’s most notable properties, including Ask.com®, where he was an instrumental, early-stage contributor to the company as Executive Technical Editor, and Google®, where as a User Interface Engineer, he shaped the front-end of the company’s AdSense contextual ad network from its beginnings. Simmons also has deep experience in managing digital marketing campaigns for world-class brands such as CDW®, AOL®, Macy’s®, Dell® and City Search®, as a key player in campaign management for 24/7 Real Media®, where he managed over 30 top-tier accounts generating upwards of 300,000 clicks per day.
Jon Seals joined OPM’s SEO team in January of 2011 and is Google Analytics and AdWords Certified. Jon’s prior experience includes working for an Inc500 ecommerce company with several national and international sites. This company had very successful Internet marketing campaigns, which led to annual company growth in the double digits, while annual growth for the main website grew to 38% for 2010. Jon has successfully led Shopping Comparison Engines (SCE’s), Paid Search (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns and also has experience with Affiliate marketing, Remarketing, Landing Page Optimization and Website Optimization.
Trevor Ayers joined OPM in February of 2011 where he employs his skills and experience in search engine optimization and project management. He uses his background in advertising and marketing to best understand clients’ goals and marketing objectives. He is currently responsible for managing client accounts, reporting and executing SEO campaigns.
Prior to joining OPM Trevor was a project manager at a digital advertising agency for accounts including Mountain Dew, Pizza Hut and Buffets. He worked with the account executive team to ensure projects were launched on schedule and as promised. Trevor also has experience working as an assistant account executive for Midas where his primary responsibilities were reporting sales, tracking the effectiveness of promotions and building competitive analyses for each designated marketing area.
James joined OPM in 2011. James is the lead software developer for OPM with over 15 years of development experience including e-commerce, CMS, email marketing and intranet systems. James’ is currently responsibilities include the front and backend development of client websites and building API interfaces to Google and Bing.
Prior to OPM, James developed intranet web applications for companies including Pepsi, Verizon, and Blockbuster. In addition to web development, James has built API (web services) systems for interfacing to Google, Bing and Double Click to pull custom metrics for web marketing.
A seasoned marketer and online community catalyst, Elaine joined OPM in July of 2011. With proven expertise in email marketing, e-commerce, web content, direct response, and online branding for businesses and nonprofits, she is passionate about leveraging the power of social media–and propelling the possibilities of “virtual engagement.” Her campaign successes include exceeding a national real estate conference’s registration goal, building a successful Facebook “like” campaign to feed more than 3,000 homeless during the holidays, and developing dynamic blogging strategies that fill lead pipelines.
