S. Michael Edwards
Michael Edwards started OPM with Cade Herzog and Jeff Rudluff in January 2005 where he manages website/software requirements and serves as the liaison between the client's business units and OPM's technical team. Under Edwards' direction, OPM's technical team and programmers have created fully functional e-commerce solutions, websites, and patent-pending software solutions which have generated millions of dollars in revenue for OPM's clients. Edwards, an ADWORDS Qualified Individual, also manages the daily Pay Per Click implementation for OPM's clients. With a focus on performance, OPM has some impressive success stories. Most notably, taking over PPC for a client who was spending over $600k/year on internally-managed PPC; after OPM reorganized and optimized their campaign, the client's site traffic increased by 46%, PPC costs were reduced by 40%, and Retrun on Ad Spend improved by 317% year over year.
Prior to starting OPM, Edwards served as a technology and training consultant for over 16 years. While serving as Requirements Manager & Site Manager for Verizon’s Voice Over IP product, VoiceWing™, he was responsible for writing the requirements & managing the implementation of new functionality for their customer-facing Online Ordering website and internal Call Center Ordering Tool website. As a Senior Training Consultant, Mr. Edwards has designed and developed both online and offline training for various high tech companies including Dell®, Verizon®, Primedia Workplace Learning®, and Countrywide Home Loans®. Edwards is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Edwards graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Wayland Baptist University, with a BS in Occupational Education & Training.
Cade Herzog
Cade Herzog began a performance marketing company in October 2002, joined forces with Jeff Rudluff in February 2005, and then formed OPM with Michael Edwards and Rudluff in January 2006. To this partnership, Herzog brings a vast background in technology publishing, sales and business development for interactive companies, creation of strategic online marketing plans, overseeing research, media buying, trafficking, and reporting, as well as supervising email marketing efforts and affiliate channel development.
Prior to forming OPM, Herzog was chosen to serve as a Senatorial Intern on Capitol Hill, co-owned and published a network of technology magazines, and served as Director of Business Development among other key roles for Match.com®.
Herzog graduated cum laude from The University of Texas, in Dallas, Texas, with a B.A. in Communications.
Jeff Rudluff
Jeff Rudluff began an online marketing business in October 2004, joined forces with Cade Herzog in February 2005, and then formed OPM with Michael Edwards and Herzog in January 2006. To this partnership, Rudluff brings broad experience in designing cost-effective products and services that drive customer demand and service via the Internet. He continually develops new business for the agency, and innovates new solutions with current clients. Rudluff steers the organization by conceiving, developing, and implementing its core competencies, which include Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), media buying, affiliate programs, social marketing, and emerging technologies within the Internet channel.
Prior to forming OPM, Rudluff broke new ground by designing and developing early proto-types of GTE (Verizon) SuperPages and Superpages.com. He developed the strategy for all GTE (Verizon) online initiatives, including establishing the Internet as sales- and customer- service channels, and creating billing for both residential and business customers in the National Marketing Organization. Rudluff brought his Internet experience to Match.com® where, as Vice President of Product, he led the online dating service through the explosive growth years. His vision integrated Match.com with AOL®, MSN®, and other partners. As Vice President of New Product Development, Rudluff led the successful expansion of service to include, video, voice, wireless, and other services.
Rudluff graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Management Information Systems.
Team
Jan Biggs, PMP
Jan Biggs joined OPM in July 2006 where she's able to utilize a wide variety of skills, including project and product management, client and vendor relationship management, Web site road mapping and feature development, requirements and proposal creation, and advertising concepts and creative development. Since joining OPM, Biggs led graphic designers and product developers through a relaunch of the ticket2fame® customer and member Web sites. With a realignment of product and advertising direction, she grew the member base from 0 to 5,000 in a 6-month timeframe.
Prior to OPM, Biggs was an accomplished performer in diverse industries including e-commerce, telecommunications, computer, healthcare, legal, and government. During her first year at Match.com®, Biggs launched the Dating Advice and Profile Assistance products, and grew the Voice product customer base from 0 to 9,000 paid subscribers and 100,000 members. During that same year she increased the customer retention life cycle by 33%.
Biggs graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems, and earned her PMP credential from the Project Management Institute.
Joseph Hollinshead
Joseph Hollinshead joined OPM in April 2010. A Google AdWords Certified Partner, Hollinshead brings more than a decade of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Search (PPC), Social Media Marketing, Conversion Optimization, and Strategic Marketing Research & Analysis.
Prior to OPM, Hollinshead founded NetVida Marketing, Inc., a Dallas, Texas based Internet Marketing and Web Development Company which services a variety of clients from non-profits to enterprise level. He also founded several successful online ventures and has a deep understanding of user search, purchase, registration, and opt-in habits. Prior to his days at NetVida Marketing, Inc., Hollinshead worked for several high profile Silicon Valley startups and in Hollywood, CA as a Creative Executive for David Letterman's television production company, Worldwide Pants, Inc. Hollinshead is also a member of the Dallas / Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association (DFWSEM).
Hollinshead graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Anthropology and holds an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Stephanie Perryman
Stephanie Perryman joined OPM in May 2007 where she employs her skills to manage all forms of client reporting, make timely HTML revisions, and create critical product and service information for client Web sites. Perryman is the go-to person for the OPM advanced ad-serving program where she implements campaigns using flash, rich media, and video.
Prior to OPM, Perryman gained valuable and diversified experience in server administration, running a small real estate marketing business, and editing online and offline copy.
Perryman graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, with a B.S. in Sociology with emphasis on Anthropology.
Dave Rowe
Dave Rowe joined OPM in January of 2010. Rowe is an Adwords Qualified Individual who uses his experience in Paid search marketing to achieve high levels of return for OPM’s clients. He is currently responsible for day to day management of client accounts, reporting and implementing strategic best practices to maximize the impact of clients’ ad spend.
Prior to OPM Rowe was an Online Marketing Specialist at OpenBook where he managed Paid Search, and SEO campaigns for hotels across the country. He also wrote content for several new client websites. Rowe was an account services intern at Publicis Mid America as well, where he worked on national campaigns for clients such as Beano, BC Headache Powder, Terminix, and True Green.
Rowe graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho where he majored in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Advertising.
Shan Simmons
Shan Simmons joined OPM in April 2008 where he brings more than a decade of experience in online development and marketing, specifically in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), paid search, affiliate networks, banner advertising, among other channels. He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of promoting products and services online. In addition, his strong technical background lends itself to understanding the complexities of interactive products like usability, promotion, and analytics. He presently leads client campaigns, helping companies effectively realize their potential to drive sales through organic search.
Prior to OPM, Simmons has held roles within some of the Internet's most notable properties, including Ask.com®, where he was an instrumental, early-stage contributor to the company as Executive Technical Editor, and Google®, where as a User Interface Engineer, he shaped the front-end of the company's AdSense contextual ad network from its beginnings. Simmons also has deep experience in managing digital marketing campaigns for world-class brands such as CDW®, AOL®, Macy's®, Dell® and City Search®, as a key player in campaign management for 24/7 Real Media®, where he managed over 30 top-tier accounts generating upwards of 300,000 clicks per day.
Simmons graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in English, and he earned his M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Montana, where he attended the graduate program on fellowship and taught as a visiting instructor. Simmons' writing has been published in several academic journals.
Jonathan Villarreal
Jonathan Villarreal joined OPM in June 2010. He is the latest addition to our team bringing extensive knowledge of software development, web development, and SEO/SEM practices.
Prior to OPM, Villarreal has worked with many startups, and large agencies to manage interactive development, strategies, and marketing. He has worked with clients such as Pepsi®, Proctor & Gamble®, Johnson & Johnson®, Boys and Girls Club of America, and the Black Affairs Advisory Council. He has also developed 8 successful iPhone applications selling in over 36 countries.
Villarreal graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.A. in philosophy.
