When Google Analytics rolled out their new version I was resistent for a while because I didn’t want to have to hunt all over a new interface for my regular reports. But I finally gave in a few days ago, and I’ve stumbled across once set of reports that has totally made me a believer. The multi channel funnels reports are very powerful. You can see an example below that show all the different paths people took to get to a conversion. We’ve known for a long time that all these different Channels work together to build credibility and drive sales, signups, downloads, leads, etc., and I’m sure GA isn’t the first place to offer this kind of reporting. But I love how simple it is, and I love that it’s integrated with the tracking I’m already using.
I really love to see these different channels working in unison to drive conversions. Many times we just attribute a sale to the last touch point.
