This innovative use of API data has recently captured the attention of Conductor – the company responsible for producing Searchlight, which is the SEO technology behind our dashboard. Recently, they sat down with our development expert, Randy Yeung, for a candid discussion on the thought process behind our groundbreaking platform.

The challenge for Randy was to create a platform that could report the same quality of information that our clients were used to, but to streamline the delivery process for our in-house SEOs.
“Our solution was an internal reporting system that uses data from Google AdWords, Analytics, Webmaster tools, Bing Webmaster, and most importantly, for our SEO, Conductor’s Searchlight API,” said Randy. “We are now able to provide customizable, client-facing graphics and presentations within hours. From concept to launch, the platform took roughly six months to create. Like any project, we’re always enhancing it with new features from various API’s.”
Six months of dedicated work resulted in a WordPress-based dashboard that is able to automatically pull data from multiple sources including Conductor and Google Analytics. The final product is a customized reporting dashboard that each client may log into to see the progression of their specific KPIs on a monthly, weekly or even daily basis.
This dashboard allows clients and account managers to see data from Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, call tracking platforms and Conductor all in one area. The integration of Conductor and SEM Rush has effectively assisted in solving the keyword (not provided) problem that has been plaguing many businesses over the last year. Through this program, OPM is able to effectively provide critically important marketing data regarding paid and organic traffic as well as the ability listen to phone calls all at the click of a mouse.
